Lead Pastor
Pastor Leon joined Dagsboro Church of God in January 2025, bringing with him two decades of experience as a Lead Pastor in Clear Spring, Maryland. He came with a deep passion to build upon the church’s strong vision, which has been a foundation for many years.
His journey of faith began early—he accepted Christ at just eight years old and received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit by the age of ten. Ministry runs deep in his family’s heritage. His grandfather faithfully pastored a single church for over 30 years, and his mother continues to serve as a dedicated evangelist.
Pastor Leon and his wife, Carrie, were married in 1995 and have been blessed with three children and five grandchildren. Together, they share a heart for both the church and the community, believing that God’s work is far from finished.
Now serving as Lead Pastor at Dagsboro, Pastor Leon remains committed to seeing God move powerfully in the church and beyond. At the core of his life and ministry is a steadfast commitment to integrity—guiding every step of his leadership and service.

Enrique Avalos
Hispanic Ministries Pastor
Pastor Enrique has been faithfully serving at Dagsboro Church of God since 2003. With a deep love for ministry and a passion for seeing lives transformed, he has dedicated over two decades to preaching the Word, building strong spiritual foundations, and walking alongside people in every season of life. In addition to his pastoral calling, Pastor Enrique has achieved significant accomplishments in the field of psychology, allowing him to minister with both spiritual wisdom and emotional insight. His unique blend of biblical teaching and psychological understanding has helped countless individuals find healing, purpose, and hope. His heart remains focused on pointing people to Jesus and equipping them to thrive—spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.
Caleb Hebb
Youth & Media Pastor
Pastor Caleb joined DCOG in August of 2023 and is committed to discipleship and helping students grow into Godly leaders. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema/Television and Youth Ministries from Regent University and has been leading in church ministry since 2019. With a heart for raising up the next generation, he is committed to equipping young people with the tools they need to thrive in their faith, make a difference in their communities, and lead with purpose.
